Why Build It Summit
From the Event Director
Build, baby build!
Something shifted. For decades, software belonged to the people who could write it. Abstraction rewrote that contract: from visual builders to AI agents, and whatever speaks human next, plain intent now turns into working systems. If you can express it, you can build it. A shift this size deserves an event where people belong, share and come back.
This is a story about people first. My team and I ran three editions of NoCode Summit in Paris, and Builders from 50+ countries turned those rooms into a first-name event: whoever you are, someone here calls you by your first name. A community grows when it narrows the tech divide, when people who would otherwise build alone converge, pool what they know, and go home stronger.
Build It Summit is a new event made for what building has become, beyond the no-code movement. Builders are the new backbone of resilience; this summit treats them, and every technology they rely on, accordingly. The proof is in the formats. Live product demos, rough edges included. Hands-on workshops where you ship. Practitioners reporting from production, numbers attached. 1:1 meetings that turn strangers into partners. Innovation here is concrete, or it stays offstage.
And sovereignty, the way we use the word, is a result: the sovereign is whoever gets to choose, with clear eyes on the consequences. Resilience is the practice; sovereignty is what the practice earns. Abstraction just handed that choice to many more people, wherever they build from.
Consider this an invitation. Come to Paris on 1 to 3 December 2026, with your stack, your questions, and something half-built. Leave with it working, and with first names you will use again.
Welcome. Let's make it concrete.

BIS joins FOST, the federation of software events
One roof at the CNIT, one week, sister software conferences running side by side. Build It Summit is the Builder-side event of the federation, with its own brand, its own ticketing and its own editorial. The federation is the setting; BIS keeps its own identity within it, and the audiences cross over.

FOST Paris combined figures: the event BIS joins
Sister conferences under the roof
- apidays Paris: the APIs meet AI, integration and infrastructure.
- GenerationAI: applied and generative AI.
- Green IO: sustainable, lower-carbon tech.
- and 20+ more across the federation, from OpenAPI to Digital Resilience Day.
Build It Summit brings the Builder and abstraction side: no-code, low-code, vibe coding and agents.
