Hereinafter the "Organiser".
The Organiser is the organiser, producer and owner of Build It Summit 2026. It is also the publisher of the builditsummit.com website (hereinafter the "Site").
Tickets are sold through an online ticketing platform operated by APIDAYS APIDAYS, INC., a corporation registered under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, with its principal place of business at 490 Post St, Ste 500 #1090, San Francisco, CA 94102, USA, represented by Baptiste Parravicini, CEO (hereinafter the "Platform"). The respective roles of the Organiser and of the Platform are set out in Article 5.
Article 1 · Purpose
1.1. The Organiser has established these terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions of Sale"), applicable to the reservation and purchase of tickets giving access to the Build It Summit 2026 event (hereinafter the "Ticket" and the "Event"), a European professional event dedicated to no-code platforms, automation, applied artificial intelligence and digital sovereignty, taking place from Tuesday 1 December 2026 to Thursday 3 December 2026.
1.2. These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the conditions of purchase of Tickets giving access to the Event, as well as the conditions of use of a Ticket by its holder.
1.3. The content of each Ticket category is described in Appendix 1.
Article 2 · Scope and enforceability
2.1. These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to any purchaser of a Ticket, whether a natural person or a legal entity. The natural person who holds a Ticket and accesses the Event is hereinafter referred to as the "Participant".
2.2. The purchase of a Ticket is reserved to natural persons of full legal age and to duly authorised legal entities. A Participant who is a minor may only access the Event with written authorisation from their legal representative, presented at the registration desk.
2.3. Where the purchaser is a legal entity, it undertakes to ensure that each Participant to whom it allocates a Ticket complies with these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
2.4. These Terms and Conditions of Sale constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the sale of Tickets and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject matter.
Article 3 · Acceptance
3.1. The Terms and Conditions of Sale are available on the Site and within the checkout flow. They are binding on the Participant, who acknowledges, by ticking a dedicated box that is never pre-ticked, having read and accepted them before placing the order.
3.2. Validation of the order constitutes the Participant's acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale in force on the day of the order.
3.3. Use of the Platform is further subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of its operator, which the purchaser is invited to review.
3.4. The Organiser reserves the right to update and amend the Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. In the event of amendment, the terms applicable to an order are those in force on the date of that order.
Article 4 · Dates and venue of the Event
4.1. The Event is held in person from 1 to 3 December 2026, at the CNIT Forest, 2 place de La Défense, 92800 Puteaux (Paris La Défense), France.
4.2. 1 December 2026 is dedicated to the Builders Village and associated formats. It does not include a stage conference programme. Participants choosing that day with a one-day Ticket are informed of this at the point of purchase.
4.3. The Event takes place within a convention centre that hosts other events simultaneously. The Ticket gives access to the spaces, sessions and services belonging to Build It Summit as described in Appendix 1, and to no other event.
4.4. Access to a session may not be guaranteed if the Participant arrives less than thirty minutes before the scheduled start time, so as to allow for entry formalities and security checks. The Organiser may close access before that time for safety reasons, in particular when maximum capacity is reached. No refund or compensation is due in such a case.
Article 5 · Seller, ticketing platform and invoicing
5.1. The Organiser is the organiser of the Event. It defines the Ticket categories, their prices, their conditions of access and these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
5.2. Tickets are sold and invoiced by the Platform operator in its own name, as ticketing operator. The Platform operator provides the checkout flow, collects the Ticket price and remits the proceeds to the Organiser. It acquires no rights over the Event, its content or its brand.
5.3. Value added tax is collected and declared by the Platform operator, under its own French VAT identification number, in accordance with Article 10.
5.4. Invoices for Tickets are issued by the Platform operator in its own name and bear its VAT identification number.
5.5. An invoice is made available to the purchaser in electronic format. The purchaser may enter a separate billing address, a VAT identification number and an internal purchase order reference at the time of purchase.
5.6. No channel other than the Platform and the links published by the Organiser is authorised to sell Tickets. The Organiser accepts no liability for Tickets purchased from any unauthorised reseller. The holder of a counterfeit, resold or cancelled Ticket will be refused access to the Event, with no refund or compensation.
Article 6 · Ticket categories and validity
6.1. Ticket categories, their content and their prices are set out in Appendix 1. The content of each category is also published on the Site, which prevails in the event of any difference in presentation.
6.2. Unless stated otherwise, each Ticket is valid either for one day of the Participant's choice among 1, 2 and 3 December 2026, or for all three days of the Event, depending on the option selected at purchase. The selected day or days are shown on the Ticket and cannot be changed after purchase.
6.3. The Student Pass and the Job Seeker Pass are valid for the three days of the Event. They are reserved exclusively for students and for people looking for their next role. Supporting evidence is requested after purchase, through a form sent by the Organiser. Until that evidence has been provided, the Ticket is not valid and registration is not confirmed. Evidence may also be checked at the entrance to the Event.
6.4. Certain Ticket categories are reserved for specific profiles (in particular Impact & Civic, Recruiter, Investor and Leadership). The Organiser may verify at any time that the conditions of access to the selected category are met. Failing that, it may refuse access to the Event or invoice the difference with the Ticket category matching the Participant's actual profile.
6.5. The total number of Tickets released for sale is set by the Organiser, which may increase or decrease it, and may suspend or resume sales at any time, without this giving rise to any right to amend, cancel or obtain a refund for an order already confirmed.
Article 7 · Optional services
7.1. The Organiser offers the following paid optional services, referred to as "add-ons", invoiced in addition to the Ticket when selected by the purchaser:
• Exec Tour: 250 euros excluding tax. Guided thematic tour, in a group, on a day chosen at purchase. Limited places. Available with every Ticket category except the Student Pass and the Job Seeker Pass.
• Founders & Leaders Gathering: 300 euros excluding tax. Capacity-limited evening gathering, access to which is subject to validation of the Participant's profile by the Organiser. Available with a Leadership Pass only. It is not included in any Ticket category.
7.2. Optional services are subject to the same rules as Tickets as regards their personal nature, the prohibition on transfer and the absence of refund.
7.3. Where an optional service is subject to profile validation by the Organiser and that validation is refused, the amount paid for that service alone is refunded to the purchaser.
Article 8 · On-request and invitation-only formats
8.1. Certain Event formats are offered "on request": workshops, Enterprise Labs, Builders Meetup & Mentoring, Mix&Match and Meet&Match, among others. Registration for these formats takes place after purchase, with the Organiser, which confirms each place according to the Participant's profile and to available capacity.
8.2. Certain formats are offered "on invitation": Circles and the Executive Lounge, among others. They are reserved for profiles determined by the Organiser, which allocates places at its discretion.
8.3. Purchasing a Ticket, whatever its category, does not guarantee access to on-request or invitation-only formats. The Ticket makes it possible to request a place where the category so provides. A refusal, or the absence of an allocated place, gives rise to no refund or compensation.
8.4. Access to all rooms and sessions is subject to available capacity. The Organiser cannot guarantee the Participant access to the sessions of their choice.
8.5. Evening and social events organised as part of the Event are subject to the capacity of the venue. Where access is open to Ticket holders, it may be subject to prior confirmation and to order of registration.
Article 9 · Prices, sales windows and discounts
9.1. Ticket prices are stated in euros. They are displayed excluding tax by default, the Event audience being predominantly professional. The price including tax is displayed where the purchaser is a consumer, in accordance with article L112-1 of the French Consumer Code. The price including tax is in any event shown before the order is validated.
9.2. The applicable price is the one displayed in the checkout flow at the time the order is validated.
9.3. Tickets are offered in successive sales windows:
Each window is open while stocks last. The transition from one window to the next occurs automatically on the stated date at 00:00 Paris time. Promotional prices and offers do not apply retroactively.
9.4. Volume discounts may be offered on certain Ticket categories. They cannot be combined with sales window discounts: the discount most favourable to the purchaser applies, never both. 5 tickets: −10 %, 10 tickets: −15 %, 25 tickets: −20 %, on the Standard Pass 3-day category only, not combinable with tier discounts
9.5. In the case of a group purchase, the purchaser provides the Organiser with the identity of each Participant (surname, first name, email address, Ticket category, days) no later than seven days before the first day of the Event. Failing that, the Organiser does not guarantee the issuance of the corresponding personal Tickets.
9.6. Discount codes may be issued by the Organiser. They are personal, non-transferable, valid within the usage and time limits set on issuance, and may not give rise to any cash refund.
Article 10 · Value added tax
10.1. Admission to the Event is subject to French value added tax at the rate of 20 %, as the Event takes place in France.
10.2. This treatment applies to all purchasers, including those established in another Member State of the European Union or outside the European Union. Providing a valid VAT identification number triggers neither exemption nor reverse charge: admission to an event is taxable where the event takes place, in accordance with article 259 A 5° bis of the French General Tax Code.
10.3. As Tickets are sold and invoiced by the Platform operator, value added tax is collected and declared by that operator, under its own French VAT identification number, which appears on Ticket invoices.
Article 11 · Order, payment and confirmation
11.1. The order is validated once the requested information has been provided, these Terms and Conditions of Sale have been accepted and the price has been paid in full.
11.2. Payment is made online, in euros, using the payment methods offered in the checkout flow. The Ticket is issued only after the price has actually been collected.
11.3. A confirmation email, including the Ticket in electronic form, is sent to the purchaser at the end of the order process. The purchaser is invited to keep it and to check that the information it contains is correct.
11.4. Any confirmed order is firm and final. It may not be amended, cancelled, exchanged or refunded, subject to the cases provided for in Article 14.
Article 12 · Personal Tickets, no transfer
12.1. All Tickets are personal, that is to say issued in the name of a specified natural person.
12.2. Tickets are strictly personal. They may not be resold, assigned or transferred to a third party by the Participant, whether free of charge or for consideration.
12.3. The Participant's identity may be checked at the entrance to the Event. In the event of a discrepancy between the identity shown on the Ticket and that of the holder, access is refused, with no refund or compensation.
12.4. The badge issued at the entrance is personal. It must be worn visibly throughout the Participant's presence on site and may not be lent or exchanged. Loss or theft of a badge must be reported immediately at the registration desk.
Article 13 · No right of withdrawal
13.1. No right of withdrawal applies to the purchase of a Ticket.
13.2. Where the purchaser acts for professional purposes, the right of withdrawal set out in articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code does not apply.
13.3. Where the purchaser is a consumer, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, which excludes contracts for the supply of leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. The Event is a gathering taking place on specific dates, 1, 2 and 3 December 2026.
13.4. The purchaser acknowledges having been expressly informed of this before validating the order.
Article 14 · Cancellation, postponement and refund
14.1. No refund at the Participant's initiative. The sale of a Ticket is firm and final once the order has been validated by the purchaser and confirmed by the Organiser. No refund or exchange is possible, including where the Participant is prevented from attending the Event for any reason whatsoever, in particular illness, professional constraints, visa refusal, or travel or accommodation difficulties.
14.2. Cancellation of the Event by the Organiser. In the event of definitive cancellation of the Event, the Organiser automatically refunds the Participant the face value of the Ticket, to the exclusion of any other sum. The Participant accepts that no fee or sum other than the face value of the Ticket may be claimed from the Organiser, and that the definitive cancellation of the Event confers no other right to any claim or compensation of any kind.
14.3. Postponement of the Event by the Organiser. In the event of postponement, the Ticket remains valid and is carried over to the next edition of the Event, unless the Participant requests a refund of the face value of the Ticket within six (6) months of the Organiser's announcement of the postponement. No compensation is due.
14.4. Change of venue. The Organiser may change the venue of the Event, in particular for reasons of safety, health or venue availability. If the Event still takes place in Paris or its metropolitan area, the Ticket is not refunded and no compensation is due.
14.5. Technical impediments. Disruption of telecommunications or internet networks, and incompatibility of the Participant's equipment with the digital tools of the Event, give rise to no refund or compensation.
14.6. Practical arrangements. Any refund made by the Organiser under this Article is paid to the payment method used to purchase the Ticket or Tickets concerned, within thirty days of the refund decision.
Article 15 · Changes to the programme
15.1. The Event programme, speakers, session titles, timings, formats and rooms may be changed up to the day of the Event, in particular where a speaker withdraws or where technical or safety constraints require it.
15.2. The Organiser publishes updated information on the Site as soon as reasonably practicable.
15.3. Such changes give rise to no refund or compensation, provided that the overall economy of the Event is preserved.
Article 16 · Access, badges, security and conduct
16.1. Access to the Event is subject to presentation of a valid Ticket and issuance of a personal badge.
16.2. The Participant undertakes to submit to any Ticket check and to any security check carried out at the entrance to or inside the venue, in particular visual inspection of personal belongings, in accordance with applicable regulations. Refusal to submit to such checks results in refusal of access, with no refund or compensation.
16.3. It is strictly forbidden to bring onto the site weapons, explosive, flammable or volatile substances, sharp or blunt objects, and more generally any dangerous object or object capable of being used as a projectile, as well as any banner or placard of a political, ideological or religious nature.
16.4. The Participant undertakes to comply with the Build It Summit Code of Conduct, available on the Site, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any breach may result, depending on its seriousness, in a warning, withdrawal of the badge and removal from the site with no refund or compensation, and where appropriate in a report to the competent authorities.
16.5. The Participant complies with the internal rules of the venue hosting the Event and with the safety instructions of the venue operator and of the Organiser.
16.6. The Participant is responsible for their personal belongings. The Organiser cannot be held liable in the event of loss, theft or damage.
16.7. Animals are not admitted, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs accompanying a person with a disability.
Article 17 · Image rights and recording
17.1. The Event is photographed and filmed. Photographs, audio and audiovisual recordings are made by the Organiser, by the providers it appoints, by authorised partners and by accredited press, in all areas open to Participants: session rooms, the Builders Village, catering areas, outdoor areas and evening events.
17.2. By purchasing a Ticket and accessing the Event, the Participant accepts that their image and voice may be captured in this context, and that the resulting photographs, audio recordings and videos may be reproduced and distributed by the Organiser for the purposes of information, documentation, archiving and promotion of the Event and its future editions, on all media and by all means known or unknown to date, worldwide, for a period of five (5) years from the end of the Event.
17.3. This acceptance is granted free of charge and gives rise to no remuneration or compensation.
17.4. A Participant who does not wish to appear may inform the Organiser's team on site, and may after the Event request the removal of a published image in which they recognise themselves, by writing to privacy@builditsummit.com. The Organiser will act on any legitimate request as soon as possible.
17.5. Speakers are covered by a separate agreement governing the recording and distribution of their session.
17.6. The Participant may take photographs and make audio and video recordings for personal, private and non-commercial use only. Any recording for professional or promotional purposes, any live broadcast and any use of professional recording or broadcasting equipment is subject to the prior written authorisation of the Organiser.
17.7. The Participant shall not photograph, film or record another person without their agreement, in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
17.8. For security reasons, the venue hosting the Event may be equipped with video surveillance systems operated by the venue operator, under the conditions set out in the French Internal Security Code.
Article 18 · Personal data
18.1. The Organiser collects and processes the personal data of purchasers and Participants as data controller, for the purposes of managing Ticket sales, organising the Event and managing its relationship with Participants.
18.2. The purposes, legal bases, retention periods, recipients and rights of data subjects are set out in the Build It Summit Privacy Policy, available on the Site.
18.3. The Participant has the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation. These rights may be exercised with the Organiser, using the contact details given in the Privacy Policy. The Participant may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
18.4. Personal data is disclosed to a partner or sponsor of the Event only with the Participant's prior consent, in particular when the Participant voluntarily has their badge scanned at a stand.
Article 19 · Intellectual property
19.1. The names, logos, distinctive signs, formats, content, programmes and materials of the Event and of the Site are the property of the Organiser or are used with the authorisation of their owners. Any reproduction, representation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of the Organiser, is prohibited.
19.2. The Ticket confers on the Participant no intellectual property rights over the content presented at the Event.
19.3. Session materials that may be made available to Participants are reserved for their personal and internal use. Public or commercial distribution is prohibited without prior written authorisation.
Article 20 · Liability
20.1. Malfunctions in the sales process. The Organiser is not liable for loss or damage resulting from the unavailability of the Site or of the Platform, a technical incident, a transmission or download problem, a failure of a supplier or third party, or a refused payment, where such circumstances are beyond its reasonable control.
20.2. Travel and accommodation costs. Travel, accommodation and subsistence arrangements made in order to attend the Event are the sole responsibility of the Participant, including in the event of postponement, interruption or cancellation of the Event or of a session.
20.3. Indirect damage. The Organiser cannot be held liable for indirect damage, in particular loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of clientele, damage to reputation or loss of commercial opportunity.
20.4. Reservation. The limitations set out in this Article do not apply in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the Organiser, nor in the event of personal injury. Where the Participant is a consumer, they apply only to the extent permitted by consumer law.
Article 21 · Force majeure
21.1. The Organiser is not liable for the non-performance or delayed performance of its obligations where such non-performance or delay results from an event of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
21.2. Events of force majeure include, without this list being exhaustive: natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, declared epidemics or pandemics, decisions of public authorities prohibiting or restricting the holding of the Event, acts of terrorism, riots, acts of war, general transport strikes, and the unavailability or destruction of the venue hosting the Event.
21.3. In such a case, the Organiser applies the provisions of Article 14 relating to postponement or cancellation. No compensation other than that provided for in Article 14.2 is due.
Article 22 · Customer service
22.1. Customer service. Any question or complaint relating to an order may be sent to the Organiser at billing@builditsummit.com. The Organiser undertakes to acknowledge receipt within five working days.
Article 23 · Miscellaneous
23.1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is held to be void or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
23.2. The Organiser's failure to rely on a provision does not constitute a waiver of its right to rely on it subsequently.
23.3. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are drafted in French. An English translation is made available for information purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, only the French version prevails.
Article 24 · Governing law and jurisdiction
24.1. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
24.2. Any dispute relating to their validity, interpretation or performance shall first be the subject of an attempt at amicable resolution.
24.3. Failing amicable resolution, and where the purchaser acts for professional purposes, the dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
24.4. Where the purchaser is a consumer, the statutory rules on territorial jurisdiction apply, and the consumer retains the right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
Appendix 1 · Ticket catalogue and prices
A. Ticket categories
Prices are stated excluding tax, at full price. The sales window discounts set out in Article 9.3 apply at the time of purchase. The price including tax is displayed before the order is validated, and systematically where the purchaser is a consumer.
